In The Business Of Hate, Are You The Customer? | Our Reaction On Hate Against Manisha

Spread the love

Many fans of #ManishaRani have reached out to us sharing lots of hate content which is being shared by several low-life people on Twitter and YouTube. Sadly, we have become a society where even when a woman is horrifically abused and paraded naked on the streets then some people instead of protecting the woman record the video and make it viral and some get sadistic pleasure in watching them. While some people have turned evil, there are some who have understood that spreading hate can fetch them money.

Before we address your worries about #ManishaRani we need to understand the whole hate business. You also need to know whether without knowing you are also supporting hate or not.

The Hate Ecosystem: Views, Engagements, and Profit

The rise of social media platforms has given birth to an ecosystem where visibility and engagement have become the currency of the digital realm. With social media companies incentivizing content creators through monetization options, the pursuit of views and engagements has taken center stage. Unfortunately, this pursuit often comes at the expense of ethical standards and human decency. In the quest for virality and profitability, some individuals resort to spreading hate, misinformation, and vitriol. The recent Twitter space that targeted Manisha Rani is a glaring example of how far this dark underbelly is willing to go to achieve its goals.

All the fans of #ManishaRani, #AbhishekMalhan, or #Abhisha need to understand that people who are spreading hate are getting paid by Twitter and YouTube for every view and engagement that you provide them. At this point, you need to ask questions to yourself also, Why did you join any space that is not official or not created by any genuine fan of your icons? 90% of the objectives of haters will fail if they don’t have an audience to address. You provide them with the much-needed views and engagement for which they are doing all this. And by providing views and engagement you are indirectly also providing them the money which they again can spend in spreading further hate.

We never opened any of the links on YouTube or Twitter you have sent us asking us to see what people are saying about any of your favorites, because we don’t want to give any view, engagement, or revenue to those who spread hate. We don’t want to sponsor hate by viewing their YouTube video or sharing their content with others.

If you seriously want to stop this chain of hate then the first thing you need to do is to stop engaging with the content of haters, stop tagging them in any response, stop mentioning their Twitter handle in any comment, and stop sharing their YouTube channel or video links. You can just focus on spreading positive images of your favorites. If at all you find any fake or misleading narrative about your favorite then debunk them by writing the facts on your profile but don’t reply to the tweets or videos in which the fake narrative is written or shown. You can always tell GlamWorldTalks about the fake narrative being spread and we will debunk them with facts. We have already exposed all the fake narratives of makers and other contestants against #ManishaRani, and we will continue to do so. But we are not going to the profile of such people and spread fake news, we will write on our own and if you spread only good things about your favorite then more people will read or see them and their perception will change if they are logical people. Some hardliners will never understand even if you give them proof, they can even justify giving soap water to someone, so forget about them, They are not worth convincing either.

Now, you may ask “What about the slut shaming of Manisha? People are threatening to destroy her image, what should we do to protect Manisha?”.

These are valid questions but before answering this, you need to know who is Manisha and with what metal she is made of.

Who is Manisha Rani?

Manisha Rani is a girl who has seen struggles from her childhood. Manisha was raised without her mother since she was just 8 years old. Just try to imagine how many problems a girl in a poor family growing up without a mother must have to face. When a girl goes into her teenage, she needs her mother the most. But Manisha did not have that privilege. Her mother had left her father. In a conservative place like Munger do you think she would not have been mocked by slut shaming of her mother? She must have been a child, can you imagine the trauma? But she focused on her dream, worked hard, went to Kolkata without money, and worked as a waitress at marriage functions, How much respect do people give to the waitresses at a marriage food counter? But she did it to survive. Her struggle has been immense. We have published her biography, which you can read on the below link:

The Million-Hearted Woman: Manisha Rani’s Rags to Riches Story

Manisha is now a celebrity. Just ask any girl in India aged 25-26, and you will find that almost 100% of the girls in India have faced some kind of sexual harassment, eve teasing, and heard sexual slurs objectifying them. Manisha would not have been an exception. If you don’t believe then go and check her Instagram from 2017, even then people have been slut shaming her in the comments. Manisha has herself said that initially, she used to feel bad but then she only thinks that whatever she does, will his father would be okay with it? If yes then she doesn’t care about the world and that should be the attitude of every girl. As long as she believes in herself and she knows in herself that she is not doing anything wrong then let the whole world say anything bad about her, release any video, news etc. it should not bother her. And a girl like Manisha has already seen so much in her life that these low-life trolls can’t break her.

They are tarnishing her image with morphed images and videos

This is another concern that has been shared by many fans of Manisha. To them we would only like to say that whatever people say or spread doesn’t tarnish your image, it is what you do that makes or breaks your image, and that too, what you do in your personal life. What you do on camera, in a movie or song, or on stage, or in a reel doesn’t define anyone’s character.

Think about the top Bollywood actresses of India, be it Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut, or anyone else, is there any actress whose morphed images and videos have not been circulated on the internet or they have not been slut shamed? Each one of them has been slut shamed, and each one of their’s morphed videos has been uploaded to porn sites. But did they actually define them? Are their careers over because someone spread their morphed image or slut shamed them on Twitter, Instagram or YouTube? NO. These things can only give some sadistic pleasure to them but will not have any bearing on the career or health of these celebrities nor are they going to have an impact on Manisha.

So, don’t worry about what negative people are doing for Manisha Rani, you just focus on spreading positivity around her. Positivity will spread and negativity will die after circulating among some negative people.

And by the way, what is the total reach and viewership of these negative people? Is it more than #BBOTT2 and Jio Cinema? When the fake narrative by makers which was telecasted on such a big channel couldn’t tarnish Manisha’s image then what these trolls can do?

So don’t worry, the love and prayers of all the fans will always protect Manisha.

Some genuine concerns

The concern for Manisha is not what others say or spread about her. The genuine concern with which we also agree is with the people who are actually in her life and around her. The real concern is the people in her team. Are they competent enough? Are they managing her work properly? Are they negotiating the contracts properly? Are they guiding her properly to choose which project to choose and which to reject or they are just asking her to take any project for their commission? Are they selfless in making Manisha succeed or they are working for their own money and image-making? Is she engaging experts for every task or just engaging friends and family members under social pressure from relatives? Is there anyone guiding her and arranging means to improve her skill sets in acting in different genres?

These are the genuine concerns that every fan should think about and try to find out and try to provide the best aid and advice to Manisha. We should think about how we can prove people like Pooja Bhatt and Bebika Dhruve wrong.

We have always said that Manisha Rani doesn’t have only her own dream, now millions of fans have dreams to see Manisha Rani fulfill her dreams. For that, she is getting enough support or not? That should be our concern. Not who is saying what on Twitter, YouTube, etc.
